Clubs - Summer 2025
Below are details of our Summer clubs,
The clubs start week commencing Monday 28th April and run for 10 weeks.
All Clubs’ will finish, for the term, after school on Friday 18th July 2025.
Year 3 – Times Tables Rock Stars
Classes 9 & 10
Monday 3.20 pm to 4.15 pm
Mrs Thorpe
Practice your times tables and challenge other children in the club. This club will be a fun way to learn those very important times tables. You will also be able to learn typing skills which BBC Dance Mat Typing, a fabulous way to become more skilled on the keyboard.
KS2 Choir Club
Classes 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, & 16
Tuesday 8.00 am to 8.45 am
Mrs Huby
Come along and join Mrs Huby for a musical start to the day! The Choir are preparing for a performance at the Victoria Theatre on 3rd July as part of Calderdale Voices Together 2025. What an experience! In addition to this, the choir perform as part of our church services and at other events in school. Prompt arrival and commitment to rehearsals is essential. Find your voice and be part of something special!
Year 5 & 6 History Club – BY INVITATION ONLY
Tuesday 3.20 pm to 4.15 pm
Mrs Lumb
Mrs Lumb will be running a History Club during the Summer term, the children who have been chosen to join our History Club will be working towards their Young Historian Award. A separate letter will be sent out to the children who have been invited to join. Please do not pay for this club unless your child has been invited to join.
Reception Lego Club
Class 4
Tuesday 3.15 pm to 4.00 pm
Miss Davey
Do you enjoy building with your Lego? Miss Davey will be running a Lego club for the children in Class 4 during the Summer Term. If you would like to join our Lego Club please ask mum or dad to complete and return the club slip which came home with this booklet and make payment on ParentPay.
Year 3 & 4 Gymnastics Club – BY INVITATION ONLY
Thursday – 3.20 pm to 4.15 pm
Miss Bowers
Miss Bowers Gymnastics Club will be continuing for another term, children will be invited to attend by separate letter. Please do not make payment unless your child has been invited to attend.
Year 6 - Pivot Animator Club
Classes 15 & 16
Tuesday – 3.20 pm to 4.15 pm
Mrs Thorpe
Learn to animate using Pivot, a program building short animations, moving figures using small movements frame by frame. Scratch - a program to learn code skills, short animations and games can be made in a fun way. Microbits - In year 6 we have been using Microbits, small circuit boards, to learn further code skills.
Key Stage 1 Craft Club
Classes 5, 6, 7 & 8
Tuesday 3.15 pm to 4.00 pm 
Miss Holdsworth
Do you like cutting and sticking, painting or modelling, if so Miss Holdsworth’s Craft Club could be the club for you. We will have the opportunity to make lots of different items and you’ll be able to take them home.
Key Stage 1- Puzzle Club
Classes 5, 6, 7 & 8
Wednesday – 3.15 pm to 4.00 pm

Do you like playing games with your friends and family and solving puzzles? If you do then this may be the club for you. We will be playing some familiar games and maybe some new ones too.
